Jenny Louise Proulx

I represent and help people seeking relief under our bankruptcy laws. I help people and their families plan for their futures with thoughtful estate planning. I assist disabled people navigating the difficult process of Social Security applications and appeals.

I have more than twenty years of experience in a wide range of litigation matters before the federal, state and appellate courts, as well as administrative tribunals. I can help you with your most discouraging problems.

I represent individuals in both the state courts and the federal courts in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the State of New Hampshire.

I am admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the State of New Hampshire and the State of Rhode Island and the United States District Courts and the Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. 

I am also a member of the Boston Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the New Hampshire Bar Association and the Rhode Island Bar Association.

In previous years, I served as the primary litigator for a Chapter 7 Trustee before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts and represented national banks before the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts and the for the District of Rhode Island.

My early legal experience encompassed the areas of insurance defense, personal injury, workers' compensation and probate cases. My successes include moving highly contested liability cases into mediation for plaintiffs with excellent settlement results and arguing successfully before appellate courts and administrative forums.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Stonehill College in 1996, and graduated magna cum laude, and earned my Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University Law School in 1999 and graduated cum laude.
